Member-Guest 2025

You’re cordially invited to participate in the 2025 Member-Guest Invitational at the Neuse Country Club. This year’s event will be played as 2-Man Best Ball at 90% Handicap. The format is MATCH PLAY, with five 9-hole matches against each of the other five teams in your respective flights. The winners of each flight will qualify for the tournament ending shootout and overall Member-Guest title. Our event is limited to the first 48 teams*. We are excited about this format and hope you will enjoy the competition.

Tournament Notes:

• A GHIN handicap is required. The Neuse handicap committee will certify the validity of all participant’s handicaps prior to the event. *NO EXCEPTIONS.
• All players in the field will be playing at 90% off the lowest 12-month handicap index.
• All play will be from age-appropriate tee boxes: Under Age 55 Blue Tees, Ages 55-64 White Tees, Ages 65 -74 Silver Tees, Ages 75-79 Silver/FWD Hybrid Tees,
• Ages 80 and above Forward Tees.
• $25,000 Hole in One – Hole #11 – Saturday Round Only
• Flights will be based on teams combined handicap.
• Scoring: Each 9-hole match will be worth a total of 9 points.
• Each hole is worth 1 point, tied holes are worth ½ point.
• The Shootout will be scored in alternate shot at 50% Handicap.
• Shots to fall on the holes used for the Shootout #6 through #9.

*Flights will be created in multiples of six.  Until a new flight has six teams, your team will be on a waiting list.
