Valentine’s Dinner

To say the Neuse Country Club’s Valentine’s Dinner was a success is an understatement.

In the club’s first formal dining event since his debut as the Executive Chef in October 2023, Jorge Morales presented Members with an exceptional dining experience. Facilitated by Food & Beverage Manager Michele Melvin, Business & Events Coordinator Amy Kradel, and their respective teams, 19 couples dined with us over two seatings.

Attendees were served a specially curated four-course dinner at a relaxed pace which allowed everyone to fully savor enjoy each course as it was brought from the kitchen. Dinner was paired with a bottle of wine and Valentine’s themed cocktails.

Three cheese Arancini over sweet marinara sauce

Red pepper bisque with fried basil, crème fraîche, and rye croutons

Superfood salad with Asian vinaigrette, crispy wontons, and mandarin oranges

Beef short rib, red wine braised over brown butter, skin-on mashed potatoes and crispy edamame

Skin-on pan fried salmon with orange honey compound butter, crispy leeks, and blood orange vinaigrette sauce over roasted veggie cous-cous

Dark chocolate bundt cake with strawberry mousse, cocoa powder, and sea salt ganache

 

Outstanding in both taste and presentation, with last night’s event Executive Chef Jorge Morales has provided Members with a shining glimpse in the future of dining at the Neuse Country Club — and it is delectable!
